I partly agree with the article.
In my opinion, the cultural appropriation is a consequence of globalization and while not attacking a culture isn’t a problem.
However, the persons involved with these artistic works are exercising his freedom of expression.
“the unacknowledged or inappropriate adoption of the customs, practices, ideas, etc. of one people or society by members of another and typically more dominant people or society.”
Nowadays, the persons can criticize artistic works and to show the true culture of a place easily.
In brief, we cannot put an end to the offensive cultural appropriation, but we can show the persons to reality.
